2024 Winter School theme: Analysing digital rights and diplomacy in today's EU
The intensive two-week online Winter School on EU Policy Making takes place from 5 February to 16 February 2024. This Jean Monnet Winter School provides participants a ‘crash course’ in European Union Policy Making, building on the long-standing expertise of the similar (offline) Summer School that the Brussels School of Governance and its partners have organised for more than 20 years. The Winter School is taught fully online, and focuses on digital rights and diplomacy, touching on policy discussions related to freedom of expression, data governance, artificial intelligence, disinformation resilience, platform responsibility, and digital development.
The online Winter School in EU Policy making is an excellent opportunity to learn more on the current issues in regard to the EU Digital Act, SMEs, and EU Single market by employing very up-to-date learning methods that create a very competitive and stimulative learning environment providing the students basically with a crash course on EU policy analysis, policy-making, and amending, which is beneficial to one aspiring to deal with such topics on a daily basis, but also to the ones already dealing with such issues. 100% attendance is highly recommended.
