Tony Joris is a Professor in International and European Law for the LLM in International and European Law programme of the Brussels School of Governance at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where he is a member of the Faculty of Law and Criminology. He obtained a law degree and a PhD degree from the same Faculty, and is an alumnus of this LLM (PILC) programme.
In the LLM programme, Prof. Joris is responsible for two courses: EU Economic Law, a course composed of lectures given by high level experts, and Case study on European Competition Law, a practical exercise for which purpose, lawyers, all practising EU competition law in Brussels, assist the students in clearing an EU competition case.
