
Tongfi Kim
Programme Director
Prof Dr Tongfi Kim is the Programme Director of the BA in International Affairs and Professor at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) of the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG-VUB) and a Senior Researcher at the KF-VUB Korea Chair. He obtained his PhD in Political Science from Ohio State University and a Master of Laws degree from Kyoto University.
He previously worked at Peace Research Institute Frankfurt, Griffith University, and Purdue University. His research interests include international security, international relations of East Asia, and military alliances. At Brussels School of Governance, he teaches courses such as 'Theory and Practice of International Relations' and 'Comparative Political Systems'
