Robin Devroe

Adjunct Professor

Robin Devroe is Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance, where she teaches a course on Comparative Political Systems in the International Affair programme. She is also a FWO Junior Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University. Robin holds a PhD in Political Sciences (Ghent University, 2019) and has been teaching various courses on political representation, elections and experimental methods. In the past Robin was a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University (2018, US). 

Her main research interests are the political representation of diverse social groups, parliamentary behavior and voting behavior, with a specific focus on the gendered nature of politics. She has collaborated on various (inter)national research projects on these matters and is also widely engaged in the broader societal debate related to these topics. Robin is also co-chair of the ECPR Standing Group on Gender and Politics.
