
Orsolya Gulyás
PhD Researcher
Orsolya Gulyás is a PhD Researcher at the Brussels School of Governance. She holds a research MA in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam and an MA in Public Policy from Central European University. Previously she has worked at the European Commission, the European Broadcasting Union and the European Future Innovation System Centre on various topics including the governance of online platforms, freedom of expression, the future of journalism, public service media in the digital age, as well as research and innovation policy.
Combining her backgrounds, she is mainly interested in issues at the intersection of technology and society. Her current research focuses on discourses surrounding competition and co-operation in multistakeholder internet governance, examining political action and engagement in democratic institutional settings.
