Olesya Tkacheva is an Assistant Professor at the Brussels School of Governance and a former Acting Dean of Vesalius College. Her research focuses on Russia-NATO relations and the effects of digital technologies on international relations. She teaches courses on research methods and Russian foreign policy. Prior to joining Vesalius College she worked for the RAND Corporation and the U.S. Department of Defense. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Public Policy and Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester.
She is a winner of the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship and Fulbright Fellowship to Russia.
