Nele Lauwers

Nele Lauwers is a lecturer in the course Humanitarian Law of the Brussels School of Governance, together with her colleague Laura De Grève. As main position, she is the International Humanitarian Law Dissemination Officer at Belgian Red Cross-Flanders. Previously, she conducted legal research for the Resource Center for Human Rights, and worked as a legal assistant at the Moldovan Institute For Human Rights in Chisinau, Moldova. Nele obtained her Master of Laws at Ghent University and a Master of Advanced Studies in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights.
