Dr. Michael Ristaniemi joined the Brussels School of Governance as Senior Associate Researcher at the Centre for Environment, Economy and Energy. His research interests include the market economy and its sustainability, and, in 2020, he defended his doctoral dissertation on international competition law at the University of Turku (Finland). Alongside research, Michael works at the European Commission.
