Liviu Horovitz

Senior Associate

Liviu Horovitz is a Senior Associate Researcher at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS) of the Brussels School of Governance (BSoG-VUB). Liviu received a PhD from the ETH Zurich and has most recently been a postdoc at Johns Hopkins SAIS and a predoc at Harvard’s Kennedy School. Prior to his doctorate, Liviu was a nuclear policy researcher at the Center for Security Studies in Zurich, worked for the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization in Vienna, and was a research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in Monterey.

His research interests include US foreign policy, theories of international relations, and qualitative research methods.
