Lóránt Havas
Adjunct Professor
Lóránt Havas is an Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance.
He is a former member of the Legal Service of the European Commission, currently Deputy Head of Division in the Legal Department of the European External Action Service (EEAS). He is a guest lecturer at the University of Debrecen (Hungary) and the University of Maastricht (Netherlands). He has extensive experience in negotiating international agreements on behalf of the European Union, representing before the European Courts (Court of Justice, General Court, EFTA Court), as well as the status of the European Union in international organisations.
Lóránt is involved in co-teaching the BA courses of EU Constitutional Law and the Law of International Organisations. His research interests are primarily focused on EU external relations law, specifically the Common Foreign and Security Policy.
