
Kati Kulovesi
Senior Associate Researcher
Dr Kati Kulovesi is Professor of International Law at the University of Eastern Finland and Co-Director of the UEF Centre for Climate, Energy and Environmental Law. Kati holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has extensive consulting experience on climate issues and is a member of Finland’s statutory Climate Change Panel.
Her research interests include international and EU climate law, trade and environment, renewable energy, multidisciplinary research and (international) legal theory. She is currently leading the ClimaSlow project (ERC Starting Grant, 2017-2021), looking at ways to strengthen the regulation of short-lived climate pollutants in developing countries.
