
Ingmar von Homeyer
Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr. Ingmar von Homeyer is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Brussels School of Governance at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he works within the ‘Evaluating Democratic Governance in Europe' programme. He is also a Senior Associate at Ecologic Institute, Berlin, and has worked as a Senior Fellow at Milieu Consulting, Brussels, at Ecologic Institute, most recently as head of the Brussels office, and at the European Parliament. Ingmar holds a PhD in social and political science from the European University Institute, Florence. He graduated from Freie Universität Berlin with a masters degree in political science and subsequently completed the post-graduate degree 'European Integration and International Economic Relations’ at the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg/Universität Hamburg.
His research interests include European integration, environmental, climate and energy policy, democracy beyond the nation-state, EU governance and policy, institutional theory, political economy and cleavage theory.
