
Guy Burton
Adjunct Professor
Guy Burton is a Adjunct Professor is International Affairs at the Brussels School of Governance. He has previously held research and teaching appointments in Dubai, Palestine, Iraq and Malaysia and was a Visiting Fellow at the Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics in 2018-19. He holds a PhD in Government and BSc from the London School of Economics and an MSc from London University. Before entering academia, Guy worked in the UK Parliament and local government.
Guy's research interests include rising powers like the BRICS and the politics and international relations of the Middle East and Latin America. He teaches the MA-level course on "The Success, Failure and Future of Global Governance" and runs the BA International Affairs Dissertation course, for which he provides classes and individual supervision to most of the students.
