François Gardin is a PhD researcher in the 3E centre at the Brussels School of Governance. His research focus is on the integration of nature-related risks and environmental sustainability into investment decisions. He completed graduate studies in the field of economics, finance and sustainable development at Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
He has been acting as an independent advisor to leading NGOs, institutional investors and initiatives in the field of nature-related finance, environmental risk and investor data on biodiversity. Prior he worked for 15 years in investment management heading product development and research roles.
