Dimitri Lorenzani

Dimitri Lorenzani specialises in theoretical and empirical analysis of inter-state security cooperation, based in particular on the concept of relative gains. Since 2011, he has been working as an economist at the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission, where he currently leads the Italian desk. He previously worked as teaching assistant of computational finance at the University of Florence. He holds a master's degree in financial economics from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa (Italy) and a Euromaster in European studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels, with a focus on international relations.
