Carlotta Rigotti

Adjunct Professor in Law

Carlotta Rigotti is an Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance, where she teaches public international law.

Carlotta holds a master’s degree in law (110/110 cum laude) from the Università degli Studi di Torino. After completing an 18-months internship at a criminal law firm in Torino, Carlotta joined the Fundamental Rights Research Centre of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2018. Since then, she has been extensively involved in EU funded projects ranging over divergent topics, including human trafficking for sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse. Since 2019, Carlotta has been also working on her PhD addressing the possible regulation of sex robotics. Overall, Carlotta’s research interests lie at the intersection between law, gender, and sexuality.
