This project aims to make headway in assessing whether a link exists between discourse (disinformation) and discontent with democratic governance. The project investigates the openness of Belgian (Flemish) audiences to disinformation, with a particular view on investigating whether supporters for radical parties are more likely to believe disinformation, and how disinformation can result in greater radicalisation and declining trust in politics and the media.
