Dr. Tongfi Kim published an open-access article in the journal Conflict Management and Peace Science. In the article, he and his coauthors use a quasi-natural experiment to demonstrate that US firm stance toward North Korea at the 2019 Hanoi summit reassured Japanese citizens.
