BSoG graduation ceremony celebrates LLM, EuroMaster, and PGC graduates of 2023

In a collaborative effort with VUB and ULB, the City of Brussels hosted the 2023 graduation ceremony for students from both institutions for the fourth consecutive year. Amidst the beauty of the Grand-Place, surrounded by their families and friends, the graduates from VUB, BSoG, and ULB were honoured, with no less than 2000 graduates celebrated from the balcony of City Hall, over a period of three days.

The event for the BSoG’s programmes took place on Monday 9 October, providing the graduates of our LLM in International and European Law, Advanced Master in European Integration and Postgraduate Ceritificate in EU policy making programmes, with an unforgettable experience at the iconic Grand-Place and City Hall. Our graduates were addressed by the Mayor of Brussels, the VUB’s rector Jan Danckaert, the BSoG’s Vice-Dean for Education Sven Van Kerckhoven, and our EuroMaster alumnus Maarten Toelen. In addition, valedictorian speeches were delivered by EuroMaster graduate Robin Vandendriessche and LLM graduate Sara Bertoli.

During the event, four EuroMaster students received certificates of excellence for their outstanding master theses: Robin Vandendriessche, Marta Aldoma Boquet, Dominic Byrne, and Natalia Lasakova. Two LLM students were also awarded with a best thesis certificate - Emily Kübler and Sara Bertoli.

The BSoG would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the class of 2023! We wish our graduates every success in their future personal and professional endeavours and hope to stay in touch with them through our extensive alumni network!
