The Czech Presidency of the European Union, the Free University of Brussels and the Brussels School of Governance are happy to invite you for a high-level academic debate on The Role of International Organizations in Countering Russia’s Aggression against Ukraine.

Since the invasion of Ukraine started on 24 February 2022, the United Nations, the European Union and the Council of Europe have provided extensive support to Ukraine and taken a wide variety of sanctions against Russia. The high-level debate will focus on the role played by these organizations and their significance in upholding and further developing international law.

This event will take place in-person in Aula Q.A (Roger Van Geen) of the VUB Campus Etterbeek (Pleinlaan, 1050 Brussels).
