Philippe De Lombaerde

Assistant Professor

Philippe De Lombaerde joined the Brussels School of Governance as an Assistant Professor in Regional Economic Integration and the UN. He is currently the director a.i. of the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), as well as associate professor of International Economics at Neoma Business School (Rouen). UNU-CRIS is based in Bruges and operates in a partnership with VUB and UGent. Before returning to Belgium, he has worked several years in Colombia and Thailand. He has published widely on (comparative) regional integration, Latin American and Southeast Asian regionalisms, trade and investment, globalization and regionalization indicators.
