At the beginning of April 2021, Prof. Jonas Lefevere (Brussels School of Governance, Vrije Universiteit Brussel) and Prof. Stefaan Walgrave (UAntwerp) conducted an extensive survey of Flemish voters for a study commissioned by the Flemish public broadcaster (VRT) and the newspaper De Standaard. Professors Lefevere and Walgrave conducted an online survey of 2,082 Flemish citizens about their political opinions and topics such as the government handling of the corona crisis, their opinion about the vaccination strategy, their party preferences, and their belief of fake news.
