New publications on migratory decision-making published by BSoG researchers for H2020 project

Members of the BSoG's Centre for Migration, Diversity and Justice have participated in the BRIDGES project on migration narratives funded by the EU’s H2020 programme. The project’s results have now been published. A first report analysed the role of migration narratives and migration information campaigns in the decision-making of potential migrants. The project included extensive fieldwork in the Gambia conducted by Profs Ilke Adam and Florian Trauner as well as project collaborator Omar N. Cham. A second project publication compares the findings in the Gambia with the situation of Afghan (transit) migration in Istanbul/Turkey.
