On 19th and 20th January 2023, Florian Trauner acted as the chair of an international evaluation committee for the Salzburg Centre for European Union Studies (SCEUS) at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. SCEUS is a “Focus Areas” of this university and is to be reviewed every five years to establish as to whether research achievements above-average quality have been achieved. During their on-site visit, the evaluation committee met all stakeholders involved including SCEUS management and researchers, PhDs and students of the Master Programme “European Union Studies” as well as the rector and the two vice rectors for education and research of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.
