Youngest Elected MEP and BSoG Student, Kira Marie Peter-Hansen, Sheds Light on Amplifying Youth Voices in Europe

How wonderful it is to hear from the youngest elected MEP, Kira Marie Peter-Hansen, who is also one of our Bachelor students, as she shares her insights in a recent interview with VRT News. In the interview, she sheds light on the significance of amplifying the voices of young people in Europe and also speaks about her experiences working in the European Parliament.

“Besides being an MEP, I study part-time at Brussels School of Governance to gain a bachelor degree in International Relations. Taking courses as European law, the EU in the world, and Comparative Politics, gives me a theoretical knowledge that is highly useful in my everyday work in the Parliament. Theories and practice often differs, but having both foundations is super important for me in order to understand all the angles of working in an international field”, says Kira.
