On 19 February 2021 at the conference on ‘Key developments in the EU’s Trade Defence Policy of the past year (TDI Yearly 2020)’, we had the pleasure to hear our LLM alumni Juhi Sud (PILC 2007) a Partner at VVGB Advocaten, and Byron Maniatis (PILC 2011) an Associate at Jones Day. They participated as experts in a Panel titled “Commission Countervailing Duties Practice 2019” and shared their views with Cathy de Backer (DG Trade), Professors Frank Hoffmeister and Harri Kalimo. This year's conference was a success with more than 100 people participating online and engaging in a lively debate.
This conference served as a launch event of the newly established Centre for Environment, Economy and Energy (3E), hosted at the Brussels School of Governance and headed by Prof. Harri Kalimo and Prof. Sebastian Oberthür.
