BSoG BA student chosen as Young Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium

Sophio Butikashvili, Bachelor student in International Affairs at Brussels School of Governance (former Vesalius College) has started this year with some exciting prospects: she was chosen as a ‘Young Ambassador of Georgia’ to the Kingdom of Belgium.

In the upcoming year, Sophio’s major task as a young Ambassador will be to raise awareness of Georgia by hosting fun activities, teach students about Georgia’s unique history and culture and encourage interest in Georgia’s economic, sporting, youth issues and more.

“Be a Young Ambassador of Georgia” is an innovative programme provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and funded by EU-ENIMGA 2 project of ICMPD Georgia. The first “Young Ambassador” programme was initiated in 2014. State Ministries together with the Georgian embassies, in close cooperation with diaspora organizations, will help the young ambassadors to implement the activities.

BSoG wishes Sophio an exciting time as Young Ambassador!
