In 2023, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the European Union (EU) will celebrate their 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In this regard, the Embassy of the ROK to the EU will hold an end-of-the-year event to reflect on the deepening ROK-EU relationship and share ideas on its cooperation potentials.
Earlier this year, the Embassy has launched a 『Public Perception Survey』 dedicated to understanding the mutual public perception between the citizens of ROK and EU. In this light, we would like to share the results of the survey with the relevant officials and the public. Prof. Han Jeong Hun of Seoul National University in charge of the project will deliver the presentation. Given that the scope of the survey includes politics, economy and culture, it will provide a multi-dimensional understanding on how EU citizens and Koreans view each other.
The Embassy has also launched a 『Logo Design Contest』 running from October to November (Details can be found on the Embassy homepage). We would like to announce the results of the contest and present the 1st place-awarded logo.
Following the ceremony, H.E. Yoon Soon-gu, the Ambassador of ROK to the EU, will deliver a lecture on the ROK-EU relationship. This will be a special occasion for the students and audiences to hear on the ROK-EU bilateral relationship, and will also be a meaningful chance to engage in a Q&A session with the Ambassador. After the lecture, the floor will be open for a free discussion time for the participants to mingle with each other.
