Vesalius College presents a guest lecture by Mihaela Ionasc, Staff Director for Médecins Sans Frontières’/Doctors without Borders.
Medicins Sans Frontieres works in more than 70 countries. They provide medical humanitarian aid where the needs are greatest, and often go to places where other organizations can’t or won’t operate. MSF assesses the medical needs around the world. This year, like most organizations, they have had to be creative in their approach to our current pandemic. This lecture will address the issues that MSF has faced in this year of medical crisis and country lockdown, and illustrate organization growth and resilience.
