Tuesday 27 June 2023, 09:30 to 18:00
Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon & online

Governing the EU’s Transition towards Climate Neutrality and Sustainability

Join us for the inaugural conference of the GreenDeal-NET project. The conference will bring together the 12 GreenDeal-NET partner universities as well as associate members of the consortium, composed of academic experts in key strategic areas of the European Green Deal. Its aim is to create a meeting place between academia, policy makers, and the broader public.

Under the title “Governing the EU’s Transition towards Climate Neutrality and Sustainability” the conference will be an opportunity to debate where we stand today, joining different voices, research, and experiences, and discuss the challenges ahead.

The conference will feature 3 roundtable debates related to key challenges of the European Green Deal and its implementation:

  • Energy and Climate Transition/Paths towards decarbonisation

  • Climate Adaptation

  • Land-Use Sector

The conference will take place in a hybrid format to reduce our carbon footprint. Participation in the conference is free, however registration is required.
