For enrolment into its Advanced Master in European Integration (‘EuroMaster’), the Brussels School of Governance offers special benefits that are exclusively available to all students of the European and International Governance Master's programme (MA EIG) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. These benefits are applicable to students enrolling to start the EuroMaster in the 2024-2025 academic year:
- As a graduate from the MA EIG programme, you will benefit from exemptions amounting to 24 ECTS, which reduces the required credits from 60 to just 36. These exemptions include the Master thesis (15 ECTS), Research Methods (3 ECTS), and Economics of European Integration (6 ECTS).(*)
- Because of these exemptions, your tuition fee will be significantly reduced to 4000 EUR for the 1-year option and 5000 EUR for the 2-year option, saving you 2000 EUR.
If at the end of the 2023-2024 academic year you would have to re-enrol in the MA EIG to finish certain courses and/or your thesis, EuroMaster could be a great opportunity to get a second Master degree during that same academic year. The EuroMaster can be combined with a thesis year in the MA EIG, or with a job in Brussels that you may in the meantime have found.
EuroMaster students are eligible for the Paid Educational Leave scheme, allowing time off work for exam preparation and coursework.
Application deadline: regardless of their nationality (EEA or non-EEA), students who have obtained a previous diploma from a Belgian higher education institution can apply until 30 September. Given that the EuroMaster programme kicks off in the last week of September, we advise submitting your application well before this date.
